Wedding Photography Tip #3 by Angela Campanelli

                3. It’s Time For The Dress and Jewelry

Finally, You Get to Put Your Dress and Jewelry On

If you want your photographer to capture images of you putting on your gown, think about the best room to do this in.  Choose a well-lit room, free of clutter and hopefully with a nice mirror.  Define what you’re comfortable with when you meet with your photographer before your wedding.  Some brides want only photos in the dress while many are following the hot trend of boudoir style images taken on their wedding day.

PHOTO TIP: Assign a bridesmaid or family member with the task of cleaning up the room where you will be getting dressed.  You don’t want the hectic clutter to be in the photos.

Wedding Photography Tip #2 by Angela Campanelli

When your wedding is over, your gown stored and the thank you notes written; you’ll relive your wedding day through the images you have.  You’ll want to be sure to select a photographer who understands the importance of your photographs; a photographer who will capture all the important elements that make your day unique and memorable.   We’ve put together  tips to help you plan your day and select the best photographer to ensure that your images are as great as your day.  We’ll be posting 2 tips per week.

           2. Let Your Style Shine

Accessories Reflect Your Style

Your gown is a reflection of who you are – as are all of the accessories you choose for your wedding day.  You’ll spend a lot of time planning every detail of your wedding. You’ll carefully choose everything from the invitation and program to the flowers, place settings and décor for the reception.  These details will make up the feel and mood of your wedding day.  Your personal style can shine through your accessories.  From sporty or whimsical to romantic, retro and even wild, your style can be shown in your shoes, jewelry choices, purse and even your bouquet.

PHOTO TIP: Plan to have the flowers delivered before the photographer is due to arrive so that they can be used in the photographs of your gown and accessories. You bouquet is a great addition to the photographs taken of your dress and accessories.

Tips for Your Wedding Photography

       1. I Feel Pretty

Planning for Hair and Makeup

Plan PLENTY of time to have your hair and makeup done. This timing will affect the entire day if it goes longer than planned – so allow extra time. This should be a fun time with your loved ones, not a stressful one.

PHOTO TIP: Have your photographer spend 1.5 to 2  hours with you as you prepare for the wedding.  This will give you a variety of images and capture this special time before your ceremony.

1st Edition of Unsung Hero: Francesco Campanelli

Welcome to my 1st Edition of Unsung Hero. We all have Heroes in our lives, our Unsung Hero addition is to inspire others to submit a story about their heroes and have them photographed by me. You can email us at hero@angelacampanelli.com. Looking forward to hearing your inspirational stories.

I would like to start this with my Unsung Hero, Francesco Campanelli, my father and my inspiration. My dad (Pa) is my driving force to be happy and do good for others. He always has a smile on his face and never looks at what he doesn’t have but what he does have.

Pa, I want to thank-you for being the best parent any child can ask for , I know you were given a challenging task to care for us since we were little as a single parent due to mommy’s illness.

You worked full time , prepared our 3 course breakfasts with freshly squeezed orange juice ( I really mean freshly squeezed by hand ;no juicer) ,made our school lunches and always had supper ready for us without ever complaining but on the contrary with a constant smile on your face!

Being the Dad who played with all the kids outside whether it was street hockey, baseball or a simple bike ride. Always ready with a listening ear, watching us make mistakes and being there for our tumbles without judging or critiquing us in any way. Everyone who meets you says the same thing, that you have a beautiful soul. Even after your 3rd bout of cancer you still want to fight, when asked from the nurse if you would like to sign a DNR, your reply is `Absolutely Not `! and I love that about you !

If I can be ½ the parent for my children as you are with me I know I have done an amazing job. With lots of love to my father my Unsung Hero xoxoxo Angie
